acpattss@yahoo.com is NOT me.

Apparently, some Nigerian hackers not only hacked my email account, but they set up this yahoo account to intercept any replies you send to me.

Me, Kevin and Cassie are safe and sound at home.  If you have any questions about my well-being, give me a call or email me at ACPatts@gmail.com.

I'm sorry for this odd request because it might get to you too urgent but it's because of the situation of things right now.

I'm stuck in London,England with my family right now, we are here on a short vacation then I was robbed, worse of it is that bags, cash, cards with my cell phone was stolen at GUN POINT, it was such a crazy experience for us and we need help flying back home, the authorities are not being 100% supportive but the good thing is we still have our passports and return tickets but currently

having troubles paying off the hotel bills and also getting a cab to take us to the airport.

All we need is $2,250 but anything you can spare right now will be appreciated and I promise to refund it to you as soon as I arrive back home safely.. You have my word

Focus

So I cannot focus. I was in a car accident because I can't focus. My car is a mess inside and out. Paperwork is late. Chaos has ensued.  I am way off track with my diet and exercise and my relationship with my husband is strained because I am all over the place. I know what I need to do. But I can't bring myself to focus and consistently do it. I am amazed I haven't dropped a patient or something. But then I remembered the car accident. Sigh. See - I can't even buckle down long enough to make a coherent post.

Happy Anniversary!

So Feb is gong very well as far as my personal life is concerned. We are all in. His words not mine. I felt like we had been drifting and this month so far I fell like we are drifting back together, instead of apart. So V-day also happens to be our wedding anniversary. My husbands attempt to garner long missed gifts for Valentine's day and also ensure my remembrance of our wedding date. Just to clarify - he is the memory of our relationship. He remembers all the firsts and randomness like first song, what I was wearing when we first met, etc. I remember he was hot and had on clothing. Details escape me. So we decided to go out a bit. Friday night we went to a concert. Tribute Wars - all tribute bands. It was very interesting. We saw an all girl tribute to Metallica, an all girl tribute to David Bowie, and my fav of the night, a metal tribute to the BeeGees. Then on day of we sent all day playing video games and sleeping. Yes I actually played video games for my husband. And not rock band or Guitar hero. Like streets of rage and other old school classics. And we went out to dinner at Legal seafood - which was amazing as always. And we lit our candle. Our wedding candle to symbolize our union. Here's to a great 3rd year together.

Pet People

So I get it now. My hubby and I adopted a cat from a friend and know I realize that she has adopted us. Yup. On a lazy Sunday morning my husband and I find ourselves loathing to move because we don't want to wake up the cat. Can you believe it! We plan our outings based on when we can get back to feed the cat. When she purrs, we listen. So I used to wonder how people could get so involved with thier pets. I mean, its just an animal, right?! Wrong. My lovely cat Sundae has taught me that animas have feelings too. And personality. And all the things that remind you of people. Just without the back talk. So I come home from work and I love that my cat is waiting at the door for me. And my husband and I take joy in playing with her. And although we hate the cat hair all over the bed spread, we both love it when she curls up next to or on top of us when its time to go to bed. Sundae has turned me into a cat person. Sigh.

Parking Lot Problems

So I actually managed to get up and go to the gym this morning. I decide to stop at Wawa on the way home for a cup of coffee. The parking lot is packed par usual this time of morning. The guy in a truck in front of me is taking his sweet time trying to find a parking space. So of course I was surprised when he drove past a van about to pull out. I checked to see if he was going to put on his turn signals. When he didn't, I put on mine and jumped in the parking space once the van left. Then the first guy calls out his window to me saying he was going to take that spot. WTF! Where were your turn signals then buddy?! So whatever, I keep it moving to get my morning fix. This guy then comes and finds me in the Wawa and says "If it was back in my pimp days I would have slapped the sit outta you." I mean really. You had to come and find me in a crowded store to tell me what you should have would have done back in the day, and over a parking space. And people wonder why a black man can't get ahead. Becuase of dumbness like that. Get a life and use your turn signals. I have had it happen to me without having to hunt the person down and threaten them in public. Geez.
